Mock Accident - The Archbold and Ridgeville Fire Departments sponsored a Mock Accident at Spengler Field on Monday, April 23 for Archbold High School students. The mock accident was designed to communicate, “Motor vehicle accidents are not like in the movies or on TV.  Crashes are dirty, bloody, noisy, painful, and are not over with at the moment of impact.” Other organizations involved were the Family, Career, & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) members. the Archbold Police Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Fulton County Sheriff /Office, Mobile Life/Life Flight, Grisier Funeral Home, Pettisville Garage, Archbold Schools and the Archbold Buckeye.

Bike Parade and Safety School - The FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) members helped coordinate and supervise the bike parade and safety school on Saturday, Over 100 elementary students participated and over 150 helmets were custom fit for the participants during safety school.

Bike Safety Parade Promotion - FCCLA members met with elementary students to inform them of the bike parade on Oct. 7.  A safety school will follow the parade.  All children age 3 to 12 are invited to decorate their bike and join in the fun!

Students Clean Courtyard - Seventeen members of the FCCLA (Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America) assisted with the fall clean up of the Archbold High School Courtyard. They pruned trees and bushes, clipped hedges, pulled weeds, and raked. This organization is often seen involved in service projects for the school and community.
