When picking a design for my wall block, it was very hard to decide what to draw.  When I was in art 1 Clarissa Short did her wall block of her mission trip.  She said it was one of the greatest things she has ever done in her life and wanted to leave a memory of it.  This past year I went on a mission trip to Jamaica in 2008.  It was the greatest experience in my life and really opened my eyes how to live in God’s way not mine.  When choosing what to write, I decided to put the title of my favorite song on the block because it makes me think of Jamaica every time I listen to it.  In the song it says Sweetly Broken - Holy Surrendered which is how I want to live through God.  Overall, I love how my wall block turned out and was glad with the choice I made.
