Julia Louis-Dreyfus plays Elaine Benes, one of Jerry’s past relationships. This one, unlike the rest, ended on a good note. They successfully played the “friends” role, and they share the same qualities. Most of their problems stem from their friends, and they both often have short-lived relationships. She’s also very adamant about some specific moral issues (i.e. abortion, fur coats, etc.). However, no arguments regarding these issues are between Elaine and her close set of friends. But when she doesn’t like something, she gets rid of it (or at least attempts to).
