Philip Rivers

Philip Rivers was born on December 8, 1981 in Decatur, Alabama. Rivers played high school football at Athens High School in Athens, Alabama. After high school, he attended North Carolina State University where he led the Wolfpack to four bowl games, winning three out of the four total. Rivers ended up as the starting quarterback with the San Diego Chargers, for whom he currently plays, in a complicated draft in 2004.

Vincent Jackson

Vincent Jackson

Vincent Jackson was born on January 14, 1983 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jackson was a star at the University of Northern Colorado. As one of the only true freshman to ever play at Northern Colorado, Jackson returned a punt for a touchdown the first time he ever touched the ball on a punt return. Out of college, Vincent was the 61st overall draft pick in 2005, which is the highest draft pick of any Northern Colorado graduate. To date, Vincent Jackson remains one of San Diego’s best wide receivers.

Darren Sproles

Darren Sproles was born on June 20, 1983 in Waterloo, Iowa. Sproles was a shining running back throughout his early football career. As a high school All-American, Sproles rushed for 5,230 total yards and 79 touchdowns at Olathe North High School. Darren attended Kansas State University and set 23 school records. Sproles was a fourth round draft pick in the 2005 NFL draft to the San Diego Chargers. He spent his inaugural NFL season as a third-string running back behind LaDainian Tomlinson and Michael Turner. Sproles shined in the 2009 AFC Championship game when he stepped in for the injured LaDainian Tomlinson and led the Chargers to a 23-17 overtime win over the Indianapolis Colts. He is currently the starting running back for the Chargers.
