Season one is about J.D. and Turk in their first year as medical interns at Sacred Heart Hospital. Season two focuses on J.D.’s second year of practicing medicine. In the third season a lot happens: Turk gets engaged to Carla, Elliot gets a new image and breaks up with her boyfriend for J.D. who realizes he doesn’t love her, and Turk misses his wedding due to surgery and that he went to the wrong church. In season four J.D. finishes his residency. Season five Elliot goes to a different hospital and a new boyfriend Keith (an intern), and J.D. is expected to be a father. In season six all the characters mature, Elliot gets ready for her wedding, Turk and Carla are parents, and Dr. Cox is struggling with his feelings. In season seven J.D. and Elliot deny liking each other, J.D. is going to be a dad, and Kelso might lose his job because he is turning 65. Season eight is the last season of the series, Dr. Cox becomes chief of medicine, J.D. and Elliot become a couple, Turk is promoted to chief of surgery, and J.D. and Elliot leave the hospital to be closer to J.D.’s son. Season nine is called Scrubs: Interns, the old Sacred Heart Hospital is torn down and a new one is built, J.D., Turk, and Dr. Cox become Winston University professors, J.D. quits after 7 episodes, the new main character is Lucy Bennett (Kerry Bishe). | |
