Zach was born in Memphis, Tennessee on November 7, 1983. He plays the bass guitar in the band Shinedown. He started playing guitar at age 13. At age 14 he already had a manager and was traveling the world. After Nick Perri left the band he took both parts of the bass and lead guitarist. Myers’ idols growing up were Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimmy Page, Phil Lynott, and Damon Johnson.
