Team
Olympics

Canada’s national soccer team has had several more-than-successful moments in their history. The national team was officially founded in 1912, even though the country had had a team far before, dated back to 1876. Since then, Canada has won the Gold Medal in the Summer Olympics once in 1904. The team has also won the CONCACAF Gold Cup twice, once in 1985 to qualify for the 1986 FIFA World Cup, and also in 2000 to qualify for the 2001 FIFA Confederates Cup. The team’s stadium, BMO Field was recently built in 2007 in Toronto. It opened on April 28, 2017, and is home to three teams during their seasons: Toronto FC, the Toronto Argonaughts, and Toronto FC II. We are all looking forward to what will happen next for the world-known crew.
