The Browns had the number one, number 25 and number 29 picks in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft. They turned these picks into defensive end Myles Garrett out of Texas A&M, safety and special teams star, Jabrill Peppers out of Michigan, and tight end David Njoku out of Miami. In the second round, they took quarterback Deshone Kizer out of Notre Dame with the number 52 overall pick. In the third round, with the number 65 pick the Browns took defensive tackle Larry Ogunjobi from Charlotte. In the last four rounds of the draft the Browns took cornerback Howard Wilson, offensive tackle Rod Johnson, defensive tackle Caleb Brantley, kicker Zane Gonzalez and running back Matt Dayes. In the 2018 draft, the Browns have two first round picks, three second round picks and eight picks in the last five rounds of the draft. |
