Kobe Bryant is a MVP, Olympic gold medalist, 12 time NBA All Star, 2 times scoring champion, Slam-dunk champion and a six time all defensive first team player. Kobe was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, were his dad Joe Bryant played for the 76ers. When Kobe was six he moved to Italy with his family so his dad could play overseas. Kobe was drafted in 1996 by the Charlotte Hornets and then traded to the Lakers for Vladi Divac. Kobe won his first MVP last season and is going for number 2 this year.
