Braylon Edwards was selected first round (3rd overall) by the Cleveland Browns at the 2005 NFL Draft.  Braylon Edwards played 44 career games at Michigan including 36 starts, and shattered the school’s receiving records with 252 receptions for 3,542 yards and 39 touchdowns.  In 2004 he finished 10th in the voting for the Heisman Trophy.  During his 2005 NFL rookie season Edwards appeared in 10 games, including seven starts and totaled 32 receptions for 512 yards and 3 touchdowns.  On September 18, 2005 he received his first career NFL touchdown reception on an 80-yard play.  During his second season with the Browns. Edwards played in all 16 games, with 15 starts, and recorded 61 receptions for 884 yards and 6 Touchdowns.  During 2007 Edwards had a breakout season making his first Pro Bowl and becoming the first Browns receiver to make the Pro Bowl since Webster Slaughter in 1989.  Also in 2007 Edwards broke the franchise record for receiving yardage with 1,289 yards.  During his 2008 season Edwards and the Browns struggled during the entire year; Braylon led the NFL in dropped passes.
