January 1964 was a month that shall not be forgotten. Track athlete Philip Knight and Bill Bowerman discovered the Nike sensation January 1964. Nike paid Converse Inc. to become part of the striving industry in 2003. Nike has more then 700 shops worldwide throughout 45 different countries. Nike is not only a major athletic superstar but also a commercial super star. Nike has won the Emmy Award twice since the 1990’s when the award was first made. The two commercials where titled, “The Morning After” and “Move.” |
