Sean Combs (P. Diddy) founded Bad Boy Records in 1993. When he first founded Bad Boy Records he first signed Biggie Smalls and Craig Mack. Diddy also tried to sign Tupac Shakur, but Tupac refused and not long after that Biggie and Craig Mack released hit singles. Bad Boy Records also signed Faith Evans, 112, and Total. The label also produced for Lil’ Kim, TLC, Mariah Carey, and Boys II Men. |
