Disturbed was born in Chicago, Illinois as Brawl but after David Draiman was hired into the group the band formed as Disturbed. From then the band has been looking forward and has made five albums, making it big on the charts, and touring around the world. Their music is classified as metal or hard rock but they have a sense of sound that is a mixture of different classifications. Draiman stated that in his opinion they play classic metal like Black Sabbath and Iron Maiden. “The Guy” is the Disturbed mascot. He started out as just a face with a large smirk but then was evolved into a full body image. David Finch created “The Guy” for Disturbed. Disturbed is presently in a hiatus which began in October 2011. The hiatus isn’t over any band disputes or hatred.
