One of the most valued parts of the Patriots is the coaching staff. The head coach is Bill Belichick, who coached for the Browns, the Jets, the Giants, and the Patriots before accepting the head coach job in New England. Since Bill has been in NE, the Patriots have won five Super Bowls and have had 11 AFC Championship appearances and made the playoffs 14 times. The offense is coach by Offensive Coordinator Josh McDaniels who helps run a pass dominating offense, but also a strong run game. The defense is led by Defensive Coordinator Matt Patricia. Matt likes to run a zone defense, but also teaches his defensive backs how to play strong man coverage. The Patriots are known to have one of the best coaching staffs in the NFL, and truly live up to the name.
