Jean Grey is thought to be the most powerful mutant ever. Together with the Phoenix, Jean can tap into powers unimaginable. Her powers are telepathy, telekinesis, energy manipulation, and cosmic pyrokinesis. Jean was married to Scott Summers but realized that he was having an affair with Emma Frost. When she confronted him about it, he denied it. When Jean and Wolverine were heading on an asteroid straight at the sun, Wolverine stabed her and saved her from an agonizing death. When she was killed, the phoenix force saved them both. They both returned to Earth but Jean was killed by Magneto.
