Western Stars are the toughest of trucks. They are even used in war. Like the Internationals, Western Stars are rarely customized. They use these trucks for the toughest of jobs. They are used in extreme conditions. These are by far some of my favorite trucks. Pickett Custom Trucks is working on a Western Star that has 1000 hp (horsepower). Western Stars have Detroit Diesel and Mercedes-Benz engines. The Mercedes-Benz engine offers better fuel economy and has a lower cost of operation. |
