The University of Notre Dame baseball program started in 1870 by Willie McGill. The Irish have an all-time record of 2293 wins-1392 losses- 21 ties. The baseball program was independent of a conference until 1984 when they joined the Big East conference. The Irish have been in the college world series twice. The head coach for the blue and gold is Mik Aoki. Notre Dame’s baseball program is good and only getting better.
