 Luke Bryan was born on July 17, 1976 and raised in Leesburg, Georgia. His parents bought him his first guitar when he was 17.
He began to play in local clubs. Once he decided to move to Nashville for the music industry, but his older brother died in a car accident the night before he moved. Closer to home, he attended University of Alabama because he felt as though his family was more important than going to the Music City of Nashville.
