“Beowulf” is a heroic-epic narrative about a half-bear half-wolf creature who fights three battles in total; the first battle being with a man-eating monster named Grendel. Beowulf fights heroically by king Hrothgar's side. The second battle Beowulf takes on is the battle with Grendel's mother who is hungry (literally) with revenge. Beowulf heroically dives down into the water and defeats the monster in a very close fight. He returned to land only to be showered in gifts and praises. Things settled down for a long fifty years. Beowulf's land was once again attacked by a fire-breathing dragon. By this time Beowulf is very old and not as strong as he was. Significantly, he must have help. The dragon along with Beowulf go down in that fight and that is the end of the very heroic Beowulf who will be remembered forever.
