The Piper Arrow is one of the most widely used aircraft for pilot training.  The University of North Dakota, one of the top flight schools, uses the Piper Warrior for initial training of all their pilots.  The Warrior has recently upgraded its avionics with Avidyne displays.  This system features two screens and is paired with Garmin autopilot to lighten the workload for pilots.  The Piper Warrior can fly at a top speed of 117 knots.  While flying at a height of 9,000 feet, the Warrior can fly a distance of 513 nautical miles.  This aircraft is one suited more for flight training than for personal use, but Piper offers other aircraft that are very similar for personal use.
