Background information: American Eagle Outfitters has been around since 1977. The founder of the company was the Silverman’s family. In 1991 the company opened 16 stores but was loosing money. American Eagle then moved to Canada and opened its first store 2001. Now American eagle nation wide 1101. American Eagle then came up with a catch phrase “live your life” to tell there buyers that they can dress the way they like. Since 1999 Abercrombie & Fitch has sued American Eagle 3 times for steeling their ideas. Now the company is a big success having their business in the U.S and Canada. |
