Jason Derulo started singing when he was eight years old. His first song was titled “Crush On You,” on the piano. His idol growing up was Michael Jackson who really influenced his musical career. As a kid, he also studied the techniques of Usher and Justin Timberlake. As a teen, Derulo competed at the legendary Apollo Theater and won Apollo’s 2006 season Grand Championship. At the age of 17, Derulo showed his range and versatility by creating songs for Lil Wayne, Cassie, and even Danity Kane. Jason Derulo is at his peak now and plans to be bringing a new album soon! |
