Zachary James Baker, better known as Zacky Vengeance, was born December 11, 1981. Before A7X Zacky was in a punk band called MPA. He chose his stage name because he wanted to get back at all the people who doubted his potential. Zacky learned to play guitar right-handed even though he’s left-handed.	Brian Elwin Haner, Jr. better known as Synyster Gates, was born July 7, 1981. He attended Mayfair High School with The Rev and Zacky Vengeance, but he later transferred to Huntington Beach High School where he graduated. He studied jazz and classical guitar at the Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood. After being there for a little over a year, he got a call from The Rev, asking him to be the lead guitarist.
