Lil Wayne was born in 1982; his mom was 19 years old. His parents got a divorce when Lil Wayne was two and he didn’t see his father after that. When he was eight years old he wrote his first rap song, then in 1991 he met Bryan Williams. Bryan Williams is the rapper and owner of Cash Money Records. Bryan included Lil Wayne in some Cash Money-distributed songs. At the age of 14 Lil Wayne dropped out of school so he could focus on a musical career.
