Over the years, the Nickelback band has lost members and gained them, too. The band was formed in Hanna, Alberta Canada, by Chad Kroeger, Mike Kroeger, Ryan Peake, and then-drummer Brandon Kroeger. They are one of the most successful commercial Canadian rockband groups that are still around today. Just a little side note,they sold 30 million records worldwide and are still selling. They are not planning to split the band anytime soon. Nickelback is now based in Vancouver, Canada. Here’s an interesting fact of how the band name originated. Chad worked a Starbucks job and he frequently said, “Here’s your nickel back.” Ryan Peake is the second guitarist and backup vocalist for the band Nickelback. Daniel Patrick Adair is the drummer and second backup vocalist for this band. Mike Kroeger is the bass guitarist, and Chad is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist.
