This 1981 Spielberg-directed film is a main staple in American cinema. Written by Lawrence Kasdan with the story by George Lucas and Philip Kaufman, Indiana Jones is an archeology professor who moonlights as a treasure hunter. With Lucas and Spielberg spearheading this venture, it accumulated almost $390 million in box office revenue. I should start by saying this concept is just brilliant. The way they contrast his seemingly stuffy and boring day job with his adventurous and deadly hobby is just excellent. Now to the plot, Nazis searching for the Ark of the Covenant, I shouldn’t need to say more. The unusual and awesome movie that is simply dubbed “Raiders,” is a must watch.
