Gronkowski attended Arizona University to play football. In just his freshman year he broke the receiving yard record at Arizona. In his sophomore year of college he had to watch from the sideline. Rob missed that season with a back injury. He returned again next season to break more records at Arizona and be named Tight End of the Week a few times. He ended up leaving college early after convincing doctors he was healthy enough for the 2010 NFL Draft.
