Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag is an eSports competitor as well as a full-time Youtuber. Haag was born on August 3, 1992 in Palos Hills, Illinois. He began gaming very young, playing games such as Galaga and Paperboy on the NES console with his brother and dad. As Nadeshot grew up, he began to play his first FPS, or first person shooter, Halo 2. Later, Matt made his first professional impression on the gaming world on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, or COD 4. On Modern Warfare 2, Nade joined the MLG team, Optic Gaming, but was later dropped. Later on Black Ops 2, Haag returned to Optic to stay, but not before beginning a second Optic team called Optic Nation, which still thrives today. Nadeshot is now co-owner of Optic Gaming along with Optic H3CZ.
