Tippmann Pneumatics is a paintball manufacturer based in Fort Wayne, Indiana that produces paintball markers, equipment, and even airsoft guns.  It is known as one of the pioneers of paintball.  Some of their innovations include the Flatline barrel, the Cyclone Feed System, and the first propane-powered paintball marker, the C-3.  The main paintball marker line-up is the 98 Custom and Custom Pro, the A-5, X-7.  The 98 Custom or the 98C was designed and created in 1998 and was known as the 98 model.  It is considered to be the best entry-level marker for anyone because of its price, durability and customization.  The A-5 marker is the step up from the 98C.  Its main feature is the Cyclone-Feed System, a force-feeding system that utilizes the excess gas to rotate the feeder.  It is one of the most configurable markers in the market.  The X-7 marker was launched in November 2006 with the claim that it is the most customizable marker on the market with 1000 different configurations.  It has the Cyclone feeder and more accessory rails.
