Lambeau Field is one of the most popular stadiums in the sports world. Known for its history, Lambeau field has kept the “retro” look alive. Recently renovated in 2003, the stadium is now partly a museum for Packer fans to visit year round, not just during the season. With temperatures reaching 0 degrees during the season the facility has a heating system running underneath the field of natural grass to keep the “frozen tundra” unfrozen, or at least not as hard as pavement. The stadium is named after the team’s co-founder and first coach. Late in the season Lambeau Field is a site to see during the games. Usually during the December games teams must deal with the wind, snow, and very low temperatures.
