The Fame Series involves a new set of characters, added on to the Baxters. John and Elizabeth had a son out of wedlock and John finds out who he is. At the same time, a Hollywood actor deals with struggles of his own. Throughout the series, Dayne Matthews and Katy Hart struggle through trials to find their way to each other, and Dayne and the Baxters do the same. In the town of Bloomington, Indiana, much love and faith abides, and it is shown through families such as the Baxters and the Flanigans throughout the books: Fame, Forgiven, Found, Family, and Forever.

Also, will her relationship with her sister survive the struggle? John is afraid to love again, but will one special woman break through, with the help of Elizabeth’s letters, and help him understand that she isn’t a replacement? Bailey Flanigan is struggling to find the woman God has designed her to be, all the while being completely confused with the guys in her life. With God and her mom’s help can she figure out her right place in life? Throughout the final series about the Baxters and the Flanigans, much love and heartache abound, but with God they go on to see the most beautiful sunset they could ever imagine.
