Hans Gamper, a soccer enthusiast, founded FC Barcelona on the 29th of November 1899. Little did Gamper know that over a hundred years later, the club would be a soccer dynasty and a feared team by many other clubs. Barcelona has been constantly winning leagues and tournaments alike ever since the founding of the club. Since 1928 to the present, FC Barcelona has won 20 Spanish League titles and are the current champions of the Spanish League. Likewise, since 1909 to 2009, FC Barcelona has won the Spanish cup 25 times. The Barcelona squad of the 2009 to 2010 season won their first and arguably the most honorable award for a club team, the FIFA Club World Cup. For FC Barcelona the future is bright and they hope to bring home titles as they have in the past.
