The Dallas Cowboys recently opened their new 1.3 billion dollar stadium on May 29, 2009. The Cowboys stadium is the largest domed stadium in the world. The Dallas stadium also has the worlds’ largest big screen television, which is 160 by 72 ft., and also gets in the way of punts. The first regular home game in 2009 was a record setting day against the New York Giants with 105,121 fans in attendance. The Cowboys new star at the 50- yard line was unveiled, but the Cowboys lost in the final seconds, 33-31. The Cowboys received their first home win against the Carolina Panthers, 21-7, with a little over 90,000 in attendance and this was on MNF, which also gave the Cowboys their record-breaking 42nd win on MNF.
