In 1997 the band won two awards, one for the San Diego Music Awards and the ASCAP, both for Best New Artist. In 2004 they got a GMA dove award for Rock Recorded Song of the Year with their song “Ammunition”. In 2006 they won an ASCAP award for Top 50 list of Most Performed Song of 2005 for the song “Dare You to Move”. Also in 2007 they won an award for Album of the Year for Oh!Gravity, and another Album of the Year in 2010 with their album Hello Hurricane. Switchfoot has won many other awards over the years too.
