Jonathan Foreman was born on October 22, 1976. Jon has always been a fan of surfing, and when he is not with the band he is with his wife, Emily. Jon once quoted “For us, these songs are for everyone. Calling us ‘Christian rock’ tends to be a box that closes some people out and excludes them. And that’s not what we are trying to do. Music has always opened my mind – and that’s what we want”. Timothy Foreman was born on August 15, 1978, in Lake Arrowhead, California. He did grow up in Boston, Massachusetts, and Virginia Beach, Virginia. He and the family later moved back to San Diego, California, where he met his wife who he married in 2001. He has a son and daughter, Jethro (Jett) born in April 2005, and their daughter Layla. Jerome Fontamillas was born June 20, 1967. He has played in a couple other bands like Mortal, Fold Zandura, and now Switchfoot. In 2000 Jerome quit his job to join Switchfoot on their tour shortly after the release of their album Learning To Breath. His First release with the band was in 2003 for the CD The Beautiful Letdown. In 2005 he married his wife, Kristi. Chad Butler was born on March 24, 1974, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is the drummer and co-founder of the band Switchfoot. Chad has three children, Evan, Dylan, and a daughter Charlotte. Andrew Shirley was born on April 3, 1974. Drew joined Switchfoot soon after the release of their album The Beautiful Letdown. The first album he recorded with the band was Nothing Is Sound. He lives with his wife Jenna and their two daughters, Lauren and Violet.
