8 Mile came out in 2002 and Eminem was the star character in it playing Jimmy, or as his friends in the movie called him, “Bunny Rabbit”. In this movie Eminem plays a guy that wants to be a rapper but at his first rap battle he choked. He experiences many difficulties during the movie. He moves back in with his mom and his little sister Lily on 8 Mile after he gave his house to his girlfriend. During the movie all of his friends try to get him to go to another rap battle and when he finally does he wins the battle.
