To access all the features of FOSS Weather and Water multimedia, your web browser needs the Flash plug-in, version 5 or later. It's free, provided on our CD-ROM or online, and supported by Macromedia.
The menu, teacher guide, and almost all other activities require the Flash 5 plug-in. If you are attempting to enter the product but find yourself redirected to this section, please review this page.

Before you install the Flash plug-in, return here to verify that you do not need to install the Shockwave plug-in. The Flash plug-in is installed during the Shockwave plug-in installation. If your browser requires installation of the Shockwave plug-in, complete that first.
The Flash plug-in provided on the CD-ROM will work to view FOSS Weather and Water multimedia, although it may not be the most recent version. The most recent version of the Flash plug-in can be installed over the Internet (about 10 minutes over a dial-up or similar-speed connection).
We do not support the Flash plug-in. If you have questions about the installation process or other features, contact Macromedia at http://www.macromedia.com.
If you have a connection to the Internet, click the button below to download the latest version of the plug-in. Install the plug-in in the browser you wish to use.
Once the installation is complete, return to FOSS Weather and Water multimedia and click Check Browser to make sure your browser has all the plug-ins required.
If you do not have a connection to the Internet, use the Shockwave installer provided on the FOSS Weather and Water CD-ROM. The Flash 6 Player is included in the Shockwave installer.
Macintosh. Double-click the FOSS_WW icon on your desktop. When the main window opens, double-click the Installers folder. Double-click Shockwave Installer, and follow the instructions. Install the plug-in in the browser that you wish to use.
PC. Double-click My Computer. Right-click on the CD-ROM drive where FOSS_WW is located. Choose Explore from the menu. Open the Installers folder. Double-click on Shockwave_Installer_Full.exe to start the installation.
Once the installation is complete, return to FOSS Weather and Water multimedia and click Check Browser to make sure your browser has all the plug-ins required.
