After only 25 episodes, the show was ended. But Scooby wasn’t ready for the end yet, so Hanna Barbera Productions made a new show out of the gang, The New Scooby-Doo Movies. This show featured the gang solving mysteries with different guest stars including Don Knotts, the Harlem Globetrotters, Batman and Robin and more. After a few seasons, the show moved to ABC and was altered almost every season. It was changed to Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, and it featured Scooby, Shaggy, and Scooby’s pup nephew, Scrappy. |

Over the next three decades, the show changed numerous times; after Scooby-Doo and Scrappy-Doo, it was The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries, then The 13 Ghosts of Scooby-Doo, then A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, What’s New Scooby-Doo, and Shaggy & Scooby-Doo Get a Clue! Over the years, there have been numerous movie specials, and even two big-screen movies made. As long as people are still interested in Scooby-Doo, they will continue making new shows and movies about him. |
