In the 2014-2015 offseason the whole media was buzzing around the city of Cleveland because, in the opinion of most experts, the best player playing the game elected to go back to where he was raised: Ohio. Lebron was coming back to Cleveland just about 45 minutes away from his hometown of Akron. This move made the Cleveland Cavaliers a legitimate contender in the free agency pursuit of the veteran Shawn Marion and also Mike Miller; both of whom are former NBA champions. Shawn Marion is known for his defense: just two years ago he finished eighth in the defensive player of the year award rankings. Miller is a former rookie of the year as well as sixth man of the year. Another huge move the Cavaliers pulled off was trading for Kevin Love. The Cavs had to give up the number one pick in the draft Andrew Wiggins, and the 2013 number one pick Anthony Bennett.
