Bill Gates had started the company in 1975. He, at the time, was the founder and leader of the company called Microsoft. He decided to give up his position as CEO to an old college friend in the year 2000. The name of that friend is Steve Ballmer and he currently holds the CEO position at Microsoft. Steve was responsible for Windows 8 and also helped with the production of the Xbox One. Steve is slowly making the sales of Microsoft products plummet, but they still are a billion-dollar company.
