When you go out for any sport there is going to be practice that comes along with it. This is definitely not an exception for track. When our high school track team practices, we usually do two workouts a day to get in shape. These workouts exercise your entire body and release endorphins in your brain. This is known as a “runner’s high,” and is the reason why some people run. The workouts are never easy and no one should expect them to be because if they are not hard then you are not going hard. Before a practice, everyone on the team is required to warm-up. This means get all the muscles loose in your legs and arms and is done by slow jogging, dynamic stretching, along with stationary stretching.
