The Detroit Tigers are a Major League Baseball team out of Detroit. Their first year was way back in 1894 and since then they have won four World Series Championships along with ten American League Pennants. The Detroit Tigers are one of only four teams still located in their original city. The Tigers’ first stadium was Bennett Park and in 1912 they moved to Navin Field. In 1938, the stadium was rebuilt and renamed Briggs Stadium until finally in 1961, it was named Tiger Stadium. Currently, the Tigers play at Comerica Park and this will be their eleventh year there.
