Prior to ever being known as Mac Miller, he was in the rap group The Ill Spoken with another Pittsburgh rapper, Beedie. The Ill Spoken released one mix tape in 2008 entitled How High. Before changing his name to Mac Miller, the young rapper was known as EZ Mac. Under this stage name he released a mix tape entitled But My Mackin Ain’t Easy. Then in 2009 Mac Miller released his first and second mix tapes, The Jukebox: Prelude to Class Clown and The High Life.
