After releasing The Jukebox: Prelude to Class Clown and The High Life Mac’s name started to become well known throughout the Internet and the streets. In July of 2010 he signed with independent record label Rostrum Records, and on August 13 he released K.I.D.S. Miller’s next mix tape entitled Best Day Ever was released on March 11, 2011. The first single off the mix tape “Donald Trump” reached number 80 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was downloaded 460,000 times since its release. In July of 2011 Mac Miller announced he would be releasing his first studio album on November 8, 2011.
