The Executive Branch is the part of the government that has sole authority and responsibility for executing daily requirements for the nation. The leader of the Executive Branch is the President, then going all the way down to local police officers. This is the branch that “enforces” the law made by the Legislative Branch. This is where the Executive Branch gets their checking power in checking off the other two branches. This system is set up to avoid tyrant type of leaders, by not giving one individual too much power.
