In 2001 Strait released and album called The Road Less Traveled. Rolling Stone described it as sticking to the formula “but adds a few twists that make it superior to his last few releases.” Three singles were released from his album with two climbing to number one. Strait released another album in 2003 called Honkytonkville the album didn’t have any number one hits. On October 3, 2006 Strait had just started his 30th year of music with the release of his album It Just Come Natural, when the first single from the album “Give It Away” reached number one and his album title song “It Just Comes Natural” was his 42nd Billboard number one in 2007. In 2008 he released another album called Troubadour, “River of Love” was his third single in the album and was his 57th number one so far. On May 14, 2013, Strait released an album called Love Is Everything which included his 60th single “Give It All We Got Tonight.” On September 26, 2012 Strait announced that he will retire from touring. He started his last tour called “The Cowboy Rides Away Tour” which would be 21 concerts in 2013 and 26 concerts in 2014 with a total number of 47 concerts in his last tour.
