North Carolina has a tradition of great basketball year after year. They have won five NCAA National Championships and have been runner up four times. North Carolina has had nine people, players and coaches, inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. If a North Carolina team isn’t ranked during the year, many fans think of it as a disgrace because they expect winning teams every year. North Carolina basketball is definitely a tradition that should never die.
