Born December 2nd, 1978 in Rotherham, England, Chris is the bassist and backing vocalist of Muse. Chris was originally a drummer in a punk band before joining Bellamy and Howard. He joined Muse(the Rocket Baby Dolls at that time) and became their permanent bassist. Chris, though not in live performances, also plays keyboards, guitar, harmonica, and drums. Wolstenholme was married at the age of 19 and had his first child two years later. Chris and his wife Kelly currently have 4 children and live in Teignmouth. Chris holds an honorary Doctorate of Arts from the University of Plymouth.
