As perhaps one of the finest dynasties in all of sports, the New York Yankees have many Hall of Fame players. From Babe Ruth to Phil Rizzuto to Whitey Ford, Yankees are everywhere in the Hall of Fame. The New York Yankees have retired many numbers in their history and almost all of them are in the Hall of Fame. The most notable are Lou Gehrig, Yogi Berra, Mickey Mantle and Joe DiMaggio. These players have brought great pride to such a magnificent franchise to have so many in the Hall of Fame is such an honor. Many managers have also been selected to the Hall of Fame including: Casey Stengal, Miller Huggins and Joe McCarthy. Yankee Stadium has a Monument Park in center field that is dedicated to the best Yankee players. The Yankees have many All-Star Players enshrined in Cooperstown. |
